The Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Research Scientist/Engineer 3. A position is available in a cellular immunology lab for an experienced scientist to contribute to several funded projects. Located at UW SLU, projects include research on SARS-CoV-2, HSV-1 and HSV-2, HHV-8, varicella zoster virus, syphilis, and cancer caused by MCPyV, a polyomavirus. Several smaller and larger, short and long term projects allow an additional position to be created, adding to a staff of three doctoral-level UW Research Scientists, one post-doc, and several technologists.
