Director of Bioinformatics

The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The role will collaborate with other bioinformatics centers within Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine as well as the Director of Genomic Pathology to expand the division and improve patient care at Northwestern Memorial Hospital through personalized precision medicine. Responsibilities include the design and implementation of advanced computational tools for high-throughput analysis of multiple types of disparate patient data. You will refine methodologies for data analysis, processing, visualization and storage. Qualified candidates will hold a PhD or an MD/PhD in a relevant field and experience in computational biology, molecular diagnostics, and/or genomic medicine.
