Careers Start Here. A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available immediately to join the laboratory of Scott N. Furlan in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in the newly refurbished Steam Plant building.The postdoctoral fellow will join an ongoing project to study the biology of Ewing sarcoma metastasis using cutting-edge, single cell genomics. The successful applicant will utilize standard techniques of genomics, cellular and molecular biology. Suitable applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in genetics, tumor biology or a closely-related field. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of next-generation sequencing, tissue culture, and computational biology. Preferred qualifications include experience with CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and proteomic techniques. The successful candidate will be a scientifically driven, well-organized self-starter.
