Position Summary: Two full-time postdoctoral associate positions, funded through an NIH grant, is available. Duties involve conducting research determining fetal alcohol’s neuroimmune and/or epigenetic effects on the neuroendocrine system and their impacts on stress biology and immune functions. Candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in neuroscience, molecular biology, or other related areas. Research experience in rodent surgery, cell cultures, molecular biology, exosome and epigenetic research is preferred. Candidate will have opportunity to collaborate with senior fellows and graduate students. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a visa to work in the US. Rutgers, New Brunswick Campus is located in a suburban area of central New Jersey with convenient access to major metropolitan areas including New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC. This is a grant-funded position. Minimum Education and Experience: Candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in neuroscience, molecular biology, or other related areas. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Research experience in rodent surgery, cell cultures, molecular biology, exosome and epigenetic research is preferred.
