Faculty in the Technology, Culture and Society(TCS) department (https://engineering.nyu.edu/) at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Research Scientist to join in exciting projects in environmental metagenomics with Dr. Henaff at the Laboratory for Living Interfaces (http://idm.engineering.nyu.edu/henafflab/).

-Master's degree or equivalent years of experience in computational biology, with a focus on DNA sequence analysis. Metagenomics experience preferred.
experience with high-performance computing systems
experience with DNA collection mechanisms such as surface swabbing and air sampling
experience with SARS-CoV-2 a plus
