University of the Sciences (USciences) is offering new online master’s degrees and graduate certificates in Genomics, Health Administration, and Health Informatics. USciences Online provides convenient, high-quality science and healthcare programs to help individuals advance their careers. Together with Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, we’ll deliver excellence and innovation in educating the next generation of healthcare leaders.
We are currently hiring adjunct instructors for 100% online, flexible programs and six term starts per year. Each term is eight weeks. Pay per Course: $2,500.00 (graduate level). Below is the schedule for the remainder of 2020:

Position Overview:
Adjuncts will facilitate Genomics courses online/asynchronously to graduate students in USciences Online division. We are interested in innovative teaching approaches that complement the existing strengths of the University and contribute to the excellence of the learning experience and academic community.

- Cancer Genomics and Applications for Genomics in Health and Disease
- Human Population Genetics
- Principles of Genetics
- Public Health Genetics
- Chromosomes and Human Disease
- Genomic Statistics and Research
Specifically, the Online Adjunct will be expected to facilitate:
- Foundational concepts of genetics and genomics
- Genetics and genomics in the era of precision medicine
- Critical analysis, translation, and application of genetics and genomics in education, research, and practice.
- Epigenetics and pharmacogenomics and their role in today’s healthcare.
- Social, ethical, and legal issues associated with genetics and genomics.
- Evaluation of human genomic variation and its relationship to health and disease.
- Genomic applications in healthcare, industry, and research.
- Facilitate course via approved course plan/syllabus provided by USciences Online
