Position SummaryThe Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics is seeking a Research Associate (Post-Doc) to work in the laboratory of Dr. Kefei Yu. We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to carry out NIH-funded projects that study the mechanisms of antigen receptor gene diversification processes, maturation of broad neutralization antibodies against viral infection, and DNA repair mechanisms associated genetic rearrangements in lymphocytes. A combination of approaches, including biochemistry, cell biology and animal models will be utilized. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position that will begin after a suitable candidate is identified with reappointment contingent on satisfactory performance and available funding.
