Description : The Division of Genetic and Metabolic Disorders at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan is seeking qualified candidates to join a team of 7 Certified Genetic Counselors and 4 Medical Geneticists in a busy Pediatric/ General Genetics clinic. You will be involved in the evaluation and genetic counseling of children and adults with a variety of genetic conditions, and to families of diverse ethnic backgrounds. You will work closely with Cytogenetics, Molecular genetics, and Biochemical genetics laboratories. You will be assisting in the teaching and training of genetic counseling students, genetics fellows, and medical students/residents affiliated with Wayne State University School of Medicine's genetics programs.
Requirements : Master’s degree in Medical/Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling, or a related field.
Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board of Medical Genetics or the American Board of Genetic Counseling
Spanish and/or Arabic-speaking is a plus
