How we do it:Focusing on access so providers and patients can focus on health
Directly engage with patients and providers to ensure product access through Track and monitor the reimbursement and managed care landscape to identify and modify resources/ education for internal teams, patients and physicians
Provide customer support to patients and physicians on reimbursement challenges
Help patients and practices navigate benefits and coverage / reimbursement issues for Genentech products
Provide support for un/underinsured patients, referrals for co-pay assistance and access to treatment support programs
Provide reimbursement expertise on Access Solutions services to facilitate access to Genentech therapies

Channel & Contract Management
How We Do It:Help shape and execute on Genentech’s financial obligations to customers .
From launch to end-of-life, ensure customers have safe and sufficient inventory to service patient needs, while providing exceptional customer service and comprehensive sales and inventory analytics to support the health of the business
Lead end-to-end contract development, execution, management and compliance and ensure strategies, guidelines and contracts meet business needs
Manage discounts, rebates, service fees, fee schedules, pricing and eligibility for all contracted customers in compliant manner
Accurately execute all government price reporting and Medicaid rebate requirements, and provide strategic value to business partners
Bachelor’s Degree (general business or finance disciplines are preferred)
MBA or other related graduate-level degree is a plus
A minimum of 2-3 years previous work experience in contract operations or financial analysis (may include 2 or more years significant previous experience administering managed care and/or government contracts in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry)
Knowledge of managed care, drug contracting, customers and distribution channels, is a plus
Strong knowledge of systems and reporting mechanisms that support contract operations particular to the pharmaceutical/biotechnology or related industry
Experience using Business Objects or SAP is preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong customer care focus
Previous experience in other functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry is preferred, e.g., product marketing, managed care marketing, field sales, field account management, market planning, strategic planning, market research, market or sales analytics, customer finance, legal, customer service & operations, etc.
